1. What is Cricwars?

Cricwars is a skill based fantasy gaming platform for the sport of cricket. It offers fantasy, draft and auction for match play and full league/series.

2. How do I register for Cricwars?

Click on the “Register” tab on Cricwars homepage and then fill up the registration form. You can also register with your Gmail or Facebook account login. While registering make sure you are not an individual residing in the states of Assam, Odisha, Telangana, Nagaland and Sikkim since the laws of these 5 states have blocked participating in games of skill where participants have to pay to play.

3. How do I login to my account?

Once you have registered on Cricwars, you can login either with your registered “Email Address” or “Mobile No.”.

4. Why can’t I login to my account?

Check whether the registered Email ID and Password entered are correct and try logging in again. If you have forgotten your password, click on “Forgot Password”, enter your registered email address and we will send you an OTP. Enter that OTP, enter New Password and then click on “Save”. You can also login with your registered mobile number where an OTP will be sent. If you have forgotten your registered Email ID or you cannot login with your Mobile Number, you can write to us at

5. I have entered the correct username and the correct password but I still can’t login. What do I do?

6. I have not received any confirmation email after Sign Up. What should be done?

If you have not received any confirmation email from Cricwars after registering, there could be 2 reasons:

  • i. The mail sent by Cricwars might have been marked as “Spam” and could have been sent to the Spam folder of your mailbox. So kindly check the Spam folder of your mailbox and mark any email communication from as “Not Spam”. Also add to your contacts in order to avoid any inconvenience in future.
  • ii. While registering with Cricwars, the user must have mistyped his/her email address. In such a case, please write to us at

1. How many accounts can I create with the same email ID or mobile number on Cricwars?

A user is allowed to have only one account through one email id and one mobile number. Creating multiple accounts with the same email id and mobile number is not allowed as it violates our Fairplay Policy. (Add a link of Fairplay Policy)

2. How do I change my password?

Once you are logged in, click on the “User” icon on the top right corner. Select “Change password” tab. Enter your old and new password, confirm your new password and then click on “Update Password”, your new password will be updated.

3. Can I edit or update my information?

Yes. You can edit and update most of your information by logging into your Cricwars account. In order to edit or update your information, click on the “User” Icon on the top right corner. Select “My Profile” tab. Here you can edit your basic information such as Name, Date of Birth, State of Residency, etc. Your email and mobile number once it is registered with Cricwars cannot be changed. However, on registering you can change your team name only once.

4. Can I change my team name?

No. Once you have registered a team name with Cricwars, you cannot change it.

1. How do I add cash in my Cricwars Account?

Once you have logged in, click on the “My Wallet” tab from the User Menu. Enter the amount that you wish to add and click on “Add Cash”. Choose the mode of payment and enter the payment details.

2. I am getting payment failure error when I am trying to add cash. What do I do?

The payment mode that you use to make the payment needs to be authorized by your bank. If you are getting a payment failure error message, it means the bank is not allowing you to make the payment. This could be due to various reasons such as insufficient balance, entering incorrect PIN or CVV, etc. In such cases, try calling your bank and fix the issue or you can also write to us at

3. How much time does it take for my deposit to reflect on my Cricwars Account?

1. When can I start withdrawing money from my account?

Once you have Rs. 200 or more worth of “Winnings” in your account, you can start withdrawing money from your account post verification. Account Verification is a one-time process. Deposit & Bonuses are not counted as your winnings and cannot be withdrawn.

2. What kind of balance can I withdraw?

You can only withdraw the “Winnings” from your account. No other balance is allowed to be withdrawn.

3. How do I withdraw money?

In order to withdraw money, you need to get your account verified. You also need to provide the bank details where you want the money to be credited. Once the account and bank details are verified, the money will be credited to your account in 1-5 business days from the date of making the request for withdrawal.

4. When will I receive the money that I have withdrawn?

Once you have successfully verified your account, the amount will be credited in your Bank account within 1-5 business days from the date of making the request for withdrawal.

5. What is the Minimum and Maximum amount that I can withdraw?

The minimum amount for a single withdrawal is Rs. 200 and the total withdrawal amount per day cannot exceed Rs. 1,00,000/-. A maximum of 3 withdrawal request can be made per day.

6. Is verification mandatory during withdrawal?

Yes. Verification of account is mandatory at the time of withdrawal. However, if you have already verified your account, you can withdraw directly.

7. How do I get my account verified?

Once you have logged in, click on the “My Account” tab from the User Menu. Select “Account Verification”. Enter your Pan Card details such as Name, Pan Card Number and Date of Birth. Then upload your Pan Card Image and also one more ID proof (such as Driving License, Aadhar or Voter ID). Pan Card is mandatory for account verification.

8. Are Bank details mandatory during withdrawal?

Yes. Bank details are mandatory at the time of withdrawal. However, if the details have already been provided, it does not need to be provided again.

9. What kind of bank details do I need to provide for withdrawal?

Bank details such as Name of the Bank, Name of the Branch, Name of the Account holder, Account Number and IFSC Code are needed for withdrawal. To avoid any human errors, an image of a cancelled Cheque of your account must be uploaded

10. Can my withdrawal be transferred to my PAYTM account?

No. The withdrawals cannot be transferred to your PAYTM Account.

11. Do I need to pay any taxes when I win? If yes, then how much?

Yes. If you have won Rs. 10,000 or more in a single contest, TDS of 31.2% will be deducted from your winning amount and the balance will be credited in your winnings.

12. Will I get a TDS certificate for the TDS that is being deducted?

Yes. You will receive a TDS certificate within 3 months once your account is verified.

13. Will I get any notification in case of a transaction?

Yes. You will be notified about all your transactions of deposits and withdrawals by email as well as a notification. Additionally, all transaction history of deposits & withdrawals are available in the “Transaction” tab within the “My Account” tab.

Cricwars may credit your account with free cash known as Bonus.

2. How can I utilize my bonus? And how much?

Bonuses can be utilised in Public Contests only. No amount from the bonus is allowed to be used in Private Contests. Further, no amount from the bonus is allowed to be used in Auction Contests. The bonus utilisation structure is as follows:

  • • It can be used in contests size of more than 10 teams
  • • The amount that can be used will be displayed on each contest box wherever bonus is applicable

3. Can I withdraw the Bonus Amount from my Cricwars Wallet?

No. Bonus amount cannot be withdrawn from your wallet.

4. Is there any expiry for the Bonus Amount? Or Can I use it always?

No, the bonus amount cannot be used always. All the cash bonus credited to your Bonus Account is valid for 30 days from the date of such credit. After the 30 day period, the bonus will no longer be available.

1. Is the paid version of Fantasy Cricket legal in India?

Yes. Fantasy Cricket is game of skill and Cricwars have, in accordance with the laws pertaining in certain Indian states, bar residents from participating in their contests. Currently these states are Assam, Odisha, Telangana, Nagaland and Sikkim which has blocked participating in games of skill where participants have to pay to play.

2. I’m below the age of 18. Am I allowed to play?

No, Cricwars is strictly for users who are 18 years and above.

3. I don’t know much about cricket - Can I still play?

Yes. The fantasy cricket services offered by Cricwars is for everyone including those who don’t have much knowledge about cricket or don’t follow cricket. We have the “How-To-Play” section that will help you understand and play the game. Additionally, we have practice contests which you can play to gain experience before participating in cash contests.
